Make Mine A Good One.

Posted: 22nd Oct 2012

We are all still enjoying this crazy weather and today I was too hot in my T-shirt, what is going on? Dave in peg 1 has caught a tan in less than two days and the fish are enjoying the welcome temperature rise and crashing over most areas of the lake throughout the night. They are predicting a massive temp drop next weekend and back to normal seasonal weather so we will have to get ready for the change, and fish included.

Dave in peg 1 is a class angler and with the lads not fishing on Saturday night he got the rods out 10.00am Sunday morning and preceeded to bag a 35lb mirror by 10.30 (come on Dave steady on the rest of the group). While playing that fish his other rod goes with a 34lb mirror to make it a very nice start.

Gary in peg 2 is enjoying his first trip to France, and even more so today in the bright sunshine bagging his first fish of 47lb 12oz, followed by Craig in peg 3 landing a 37lb common soon after!!!! All in all it's a great start and another big 40lb+ fish gracing the bank it's all looking good.

I have attached a picture of Steve's 45lb from last week.

That's all Folks
