Where's that camera??

Posted: 7th May 2014

A few days can make all the difference! with the weather proving to still be one of the key players. The lads this week have not done much different than the week before, even down to fishing some of the same spots, but with the sun shining and the fish moving, it's a very different story this week.

In fine style today I made myself look a right plonker!!, when Richard in Peg 5 gave me a shout while I was cutting the grass, he wanted me to take a few piccies for him. We weighed the fish at 47lb, I took a few quick snaps wanting to get the fish back asap, because they are close to spawning right now. I slipped the camera in the front pocket of my hoodie, took one end of the weigh sling with Rich and as we lowered the fish back into the lake, you've guessed it the camera falls out and straight in the lake! Merde!!

Shaun in Peg 2 also had a 47lb+ this morning, Rich took a 50lb 7oz yesterday, along with a 44lb, Roly in Peg 1 has had a brace of 44lb Mirrors, with the lads totalling 15 fish so far this week, 6 of them being 40lb+ and some stunners too.

All in all some cracking fish landed, the weather is beautiful, and we have one repaired camera, happy days.

Over and out
