No Man Is An Island.

Just a quick update in relation to the 15 acre lake progress. I have attached a picture of the main Island in the far bay that has been completed today. I have kept the Island a long slim shape so the predominent winds from the West & East run down the length of the island instead of a round shape that probably would lose its shape over time with the wave action crashing against it. There is around 35 yards at the back of the Island from the far bank so no doubt that will become a quiet holding area for the fish, and a bait placed either side should pick them up as and when they head in and out.
I will start working down the final bank which is the Peg side this week so if all goes well it will be completed and filling up again in October, wish me luck.
Joe in Peg 3 has followed his 44lb Mirror with another of 48lb from the same spot last night, which is an area out in the middle between Pegs 3+4 and it's no mans land that very rarely sees a hookbait, just shows the better fish are not always on the far bank!!!!
