The number of anglers is kept to an absolute minimum, and we have never put profit over our passion. Customer service and hospitality are the key part of our family business.
Introduction
The Sanctuary Fishery comprises of two lakes of 7 & 15 acres. Both resemble mature, natural English Estate lakes, being very rich, shallow & long and narrow in shape. Nestled in a lush valley overlooked by a 500 acre forest and bordered by a stream and wild marsh area, it's a wildlife haven of pure tranquillity.
If you're looking for a rowdy, busy social venue, or an instant angler motivated solely by size & numbers in overstocked lakes: "We are not the venue for you".
The fishery appeals to the "old school" traditional angler who is looking to escape the madding crowds and enjoys a peaceful lake with minimal anglers. If you're passionate about wildlife and your surroundings when fishing, like we are, you will be in heaven surrounded by an abundance of flora and fauna.
