I think it's a Twenty?

Posted: 1st Jun 2014

Well what a cracking weeks fishing the chaps have just had, considering the fish had continued a little with the spawning and normally there is a lull afterwards, as the fish try and regain some strength after thrashing the lake water to a foam!! When You Least Expect It

Posted: 6th Jun 2014

Well this week could not be more of a contrast than the previous!! The fish spawned a couple of weeks ago as you know, followed by last week being a great result with the fish turning on the feed and a bonus of nearly all the fish coming out in the daylight hours. It has been a dry year so far with very little spring rainfall, but the lakes are holding up at top level so far. The weed has sprung up over the last 2 weeks which we have not seen for a good 4 years now. I did preempt this a little after removing all the Tench in the winter that have been keeping the water cloudy, …
